Teaching is not my profession, so being able to learn from experienced faculty members and plan my courses with the support of this program behind me has been immensely helpful, encouraging and rewarding. I feel as if I am a better instructor after taking this workshop! It has changed the way I approach my courses.
I wanted to put the experience of teaching into the hands of my students, so they would have to use the skills and tools they learned leading up to that point to achieve their design. So many of them told me how helpful it was and that they "really got it."
