Nyandusi "Dus" Nyachae, lecturer in Social & Psychological Foundations, held an event for his SPF/SOC 366 course - Cultural Proficiency and Public Achievement - as part of a final assignment for students during exam week. Students were tasked to come up with an idea for a fictitious not-for-profit organization they would dream of creating in order to solve an issue in the world as social justice champions. Students highlighted what they learned from the course and their service-learning experiences.
In Dr. Kimberly Kamper-DeMarco’s PSY 101 course, students conducted a research project over the course of the semester and presented their findings in poster format at the end of the semester. Other faculty and students were invited to these presentations.
